Universal Village confab ends at MIT

The 2nd Universal Village conference took place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston with speakers sharing thoughts on wide ranging issues on sustainability.
The conference explored systematic methodologies for improving the quality of life by advancing the technology of the Universal Village and its major subsystems, including intelligent health care, intelligent transportation, intelligent environment, intelligent energy management and protection of the environment.
The three-day conference discussed the system of the Universal Village and how it will be affected by its subsystems, and the interactions among its interrelated and coordinated subsystems, as well as their design, development, implementation and engineering.
The conference also addressed regional development paths and the key technologies of subsystem integration and system design appropriate for different countries and regions.
